Walk to Fund CLCN6 Gene Therapy in the WeWard App!

WeWard, a certified B Corporation, is a mobile app (IOS and Android) that incentivizes users to walk more by awarding 'wards' for step milestones each day.

These wards can be redeemed for gift cards, PayPal/Venmo, donated to charity, or donated to communities, like Cure CLCN6. 

WeWard is an app that incentivizes people to walk more by reaching step milestones each day, such as 2,500, 5,000, 10,000, 15,000, and 20,000 steps, by granting rewards (wards).  When users join the Cure CLCN6 community, their wards can be donated directly to our charity.

• From the App store, search for "WeWard" and install the app (Look for the Panda depicted in the flyer!)
• Create a profile and complete a brief introductory tutorial. *Using referral code ZealousBumblebee1136 will give bonus 50 wards to Cure CLCN6

IMPORTANT: AFTER COMPLETING THE TUTORIAL, YOU MUST JOIN THE CURE CLCN6 COMMUNITY AND SET THE PERCENTAGE OF WARDS YOU WISH TO DONATE

• Choose a team to walk for: NOTE: All donations go to Cure CLCN6, so the team you choose is arbitrary. Many of the teams are in support of children in our patient advocacy group.
• Set the percentage of wards you would like to donate. We ask for the full 90%, since the monetary value of the wards is so small, but we appreciate any percentage users are willing to donate. 

• Remember to open the app and convert your steps on the home page before midnight every day, to donate your wards to Cure CLCN6!
•  You can convert your steps as often as you like throughout the day as you are reaching the different milestones, or you can do it before bed, prior to midnight.

• 12,135 miles traveled
• 30,035,886 steps 
• 42,352 wards raised ($105)

100% of the earnings will go towards developing a gene therapy for CLCN6 mutations.
